Road Trip to Tasmania, 29/10 - 2/11

Fares each way
- $179 for an inside twin share cabin/per person
- $187 for a porthole twin share cabin/per person
- $110 for an Ocean Recliner seat (NOT recommended)

Motorbikes - $53 each way

There and back with a bike would be
$464 for an inside cabin (twin share)
$480 for a porthole cabin
$326 sitting up in a recliner chair.

Proposed schedule:

Depart Melbourne Friday 29th @ 7.30 pm.
Arrive Devonport Saturday 30th @ 6.00am

Ride and stay overnight 31st and 1st in Tasmania (destinations TBA, probably east coast)

Depart Devonport Monday 1st @ 7.30 pm
Arrive Melbourne Tuesday 2nd @ 6.00 am (Cup Day)

I will be leaving bookings individuals, due to the costs. As we get closer to the date, I'll nominate destinations for the two Tassie nights, so we can book accomodation.

Sat 30/10

Arrive Devonport 6.00 am

Ride to Launceston, then Hobart.

Stay o/nite in Hobart.

Sun 31/10

Depart Hobart to Port Arthur, then Swansea, then Bicheno.

Stay o/nite in Bicheno.

Mon 1/11

Depart Bicheno to St Helen's and Bay of Fires.

To Devonport via the coast, for ferry @ 7.30 pm.

I propose caravan park accomodation or pubs for the stay @ Hobart and Bicheno.
