Benefits joining Dykes on Bikes Victoria
Dykes on Bikes Victoria Inc provides a friendly environment where Lesbian women can socialise while sharing in a common appreciation for motorcycles and riding.
Dykes on Bikes Victoria Inc organises regular rides to various locations around Victoria. We hold a number of additional social events and maintain a presence at all major lesbian and gay events around Melbourne and Victoria including Pride March, Midsumma Carnival and the Chillout Festival in Daylesford.
We also offer information and support to new riders and future riders.
Membership Outline
Membership is open to all women who identify as lesbians and live in Victoria. Bikes of all sizes and riders of all abilities welcome. Please note: Membership is due 31st January 2010
FULL MEMBERSHIP: |

| Full membership, available to lesbians who must hold a current motorcycle license or learner’s permit appropriate to the cubic capacity of the motorcycle which they are riding. (To be eligible for Full Membership any member in the previous 12 month period must have attended 2 general meetings and 2 club rides or events.)

Full Membership fee $40 (Interstate DOB members with current card Full Membership at $30.) |

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP: |

Associate membership available to all riders, current or non current motorcycle license holders. Full Interstate DOB members.

Associate Membership fee $40 Note: An associate member may become a full member at the committee’s discretion after a minimum of 2 years proven participation (the club has set a limit on non-riding full members at 5% of total membership). |

PILLION MEMBERSHIP: |

Pillion Membership available to all non riders.

How to become a Member:
**No Memberships will be accepted at Pride 2011 or into the future. If you are not a member and turn up to join on PRIDE day we will not accept your request and you will not be allowed to ride in the parade under the DOB Banner. All membership requests to join DYKES ON BIKES VICTORIA INC MUST be done prior to this day.**
In Person:
- Any monthly Club Meeting
By Mail:
- Download the membership form (Full Member, Associate or Pillion).
- Complete the membership form and sign.
- Include a photocopy of your motorbike licence. Back and front (Full Membership and Associate Only).
- Include a cheque or money order made out to ‘Dykes on Bikes Vic Inc’
